[It comes as a pleasant surprise when a regain arrives in the mail for Miakis. She'd already been expecting today to be a good day, with it being Valentine's Day, and the promise of something from home only served to brighten the holiday further.
The box is torn open with great vigor, and Miakis does not gain her magic or a photograph or anything of the sort -- she receives memories.
Thorfinn... they'd met before Mayfield, apparently, on the battlefield. And despite the fact that they were on opposing sides, that they had been out to kill each other during their first meeting... love had blossomed. What. How could she forget something like that?]
So that's twice that I've broken Roog's heart, huh~ How about that!
[And, her surprise for her hubby temporarily forgotten, Miakis runs out the door and heads for 919 Bilko Boulevard, pounding on the door.]
