[O HAI waking up in a hotel with my husbando what is this. Miakis doesn't look confused or horrified or anything to that effect -- she's not even surprised. After that phone call earlier in the week, she was expecting something like this to happen. Sigh, Mayfield

[Ken groaned and rolled over, mushing his face into the pillow] Not really what I had in mind either. Stupid town.

[He was a tad mortified, and he had their proper date all planned out and everything. What an interruption.]

At least they provided dinner for us! [She peers at the plates suspiciously.] I wonder if it's edible...

[weiss_tank]

[He gave up and sat up once he got tired of having his nose all squished.] Nrg, I dunno. It might be? I dunno, depends on how long they plan to have us in here, and if they plan for this to be a 'nice' or an evil event. Never know with this place.

[sting_like_a]

Well, there's no way out... Would they really trap us in this room and try to poison us? It's usually one or the other, with this place. [She shrugs and sits herself down on the bed, shifting uncomfortably because wow this dress is really tight.] They even went to the trouble of changing our clothes for us, jeez.

[weiss_tank]

Ugh tell me about it. I hate tuxes, I always look like a god damn penguin in it. [He's pulling at his tie now. He HATES ties. Stupid colourful little nooses they are.]

I think it's cute! [She helps with the tie, though, laughing a little.] And, hey, you look a hell of a lot more comfortable than me.

[This is when he gets an eyeful of what Miakis is wearing. Predictable, there is red on his face now.]

It's definitely not what I would have worn on the first date. [There is much giggling when she notices the blush on his face. D'awww hubby so cute.]

Yeah. No. Er, I guess not. [Well it is a lot more form fitting then he's used to seeing her wear.]

I like the colour on you.

[sting_like_a]

I'm sure you like more than just the color~

But I didn't think dresses like this existed here. [She wrinkles her nose.] I never liked the stuff I had to wear before I got my clothes from home back.

I know! They look kinda out of place for this time period...but then again, it sorta looks like what you'd see in the old movies so maybe it was nice evening wear? I dunno, I ain't no clothing expert.

[He is trying to ignore her teasing a little bit just so he could make it through the sentence with out looking too stupid.]

At least you're the only one who can see me right now! I don't think the Princess would be very pleased with me, if she got a glimpse of this...

[shrug]

So, what should we do for the next... jeez. How long are we gonna be stuck here?

Yeah I guess so.

[He thought for a moment about that second question]

Well, guess we enjoy the peace and quiet while it lasts. I mean, Relm or Nagi can't come busting in and do stuff. Er...roses? [he holds out the flowers, having just noticed them. Being a florist meant you didn't really pay attention to thorns anymore]

I can just see her stomping her foot and calling me a hussy~

[She starts to laugh, but trails off when Ken holds out the flowers to her. Unlike him, she's going to be mindful of the thorns.]

Ooh, they're pretty~ [grin] I guess this kind of makes up for you not having flowers the first time, huh?

[weiss_tank]

[He laughs a bit.] Well, I was gonna pick you out some myself for our actual date but er, the town picked these for me. Do you like them?

Mmhmm, they are very nice~ I'd like to see what you would've picked out, though.
