On Vox: Twittering...

Been playing around with Twitter for some time -- you can say it's my newest web toy. To know what it is, check out the Wikipedia article on twitter or you can check out the newbie guide on twitter here.

In short, consider twitter as a micro-blog that is a log of "What are you doing?"s. Each entry is limited to 140 characters, and you can post via SMS or web (in my case, the SMS route didn't work, I'd rather recommend using Twitter2Go instead on a GPRS enabled set -- much cheaper than sending sms for updates)

The next thing to do is, to be 'followers' of other users -- this is actually like 'friends'/'neighbours' in vox/LJ -- basically you get to see what other people are doing right now (that's where the fun begins. I'd recommend you to add BBC to keep updated about the news.

I'm an avid user of 30boxes and the good news is it blends perfectly with 30boxes -- current 30box'ers would be knowing how well they blend together...

You can check out my twitter page to get an idea of what it's about...
