I really liked how Cierra's image was doubled in this icon. It didn't quite make it to the placing position, but the color balance and border are well worthy of attention~ Good job!

Now that sting_awards has made it to 2008--if with only a measly 15 themes!--it's about time for us to vote on our Icon of the Year. Starting this weekend, all 15 winning icons will be voted on in groups of 5 until we have our winner and runner-up. The winner will get a special banner made by me, which will be forever plastered on our profile to shower you with undying glory. :D The runner-up will be honorably mentioned in the winner post, too. :D
ALSO. Now that sting_awards has come this far, we need what most other icontests have but we don't--a custom layout! :x However, sevetenks is very often absent, and I can't code for the life of me. Therefore, if we have more than one person interested in designing our layout, we'll also have a layout contest that will last until 2009 (and, God, let's hope we can keep this thing going that long!)--please post not only if you want a banner for this week's theme, but if you'd like to volunteer to make us a layout. ^_^
