Christmas music is not good running music

Week 2 day 1 last night.  It's still pretty easy running -  just 90 second intervals interspersed with 2 minutes of walking, so I'm trying to build speed.  I alternate running an 11 min/mile pace with a 12 min/mile pace (and walked at 17 min/mile pace).  That doesn't really seem like that much....on the treadmill it's the difference between 5.5mph and 5.0 mph.   But it feels like a big difference when I'm running. :)

I think I'm already starting to see a difference in stamina this time.  I walk up 2 flights of stair at work, not that much, but enough to get me winded by the top.  And yesterday and today I wasn't nearly as winded.

I've also started lifting weights.  I'm not sure I'm doing them right because I'm not sore today, at all.  Maybe a little stiff, but not sore.   Perhaps some personal training might be in order...
