So I got my class schedule for this semester today. Here it is!!
Monday & Wednesday: Principles of Microeconomics (12:30-1:50)
English Composition II (2:00-3:20)
Tuesday & Thursday: Intro to Computer Literacy (9:30-10:50)
Psychological Foundations (11:00-12:20)
The Arts & Human Experience (12:30-1:50)
First off, I have NO clue what in the hell "arts & human experience" is. Secondly, I like that I don't have to spend much time on campus when I don't want to, I like how my classes are all kind of lumped together.
Finally, I can totally see myself dropping out at some point, heh. Yeah, it's nothing to be proud of, per se (though high school drop-outs are way more sad than college drop-outs, so I don't think me going around being a college drop-out is that big of a stigma...I mean, compared to other stigmas). The library had two jobs posted (hiring from within), one in shelving at the Main library, and one at the library for the blind and handicapped. Both basically 9-5 jobs. Fair pay. If they turn up in the summer, I may apply, depending on how much I hate this semester, haha.
I told my mom today that I should drop out and join the Coast Guard...HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Can you ever imagine me, of all people, in the military? Neither can I. Which was why I said it in the first place--just joshin'! I mean, if I had to join the military, I'd totally be in the Coast Guard (despite the fact that I suck at swimming and I get mad seasick/ motion sickness when on boats) but...meh, military life just ain't for me.
Finally, the Pens are playing (and losing 1-0, dammit) the Chicago Blackhawks, and the Hawks' golaie's last name is Munro (teeheehee!). Also, my baby Brooks Orpik is out for another 7-10 days, or so I've been told, since he separated his shoulder. :-( I miss my Brooksey!
