It's a sad day for Pittsburgh.
Luke freakin' Ravenstahl is now City Council President. *gag* Peduto and Carlisle were the only two "no" votes against Ravenstahl to become Pres (yay Peduto and Carlisle!). And shame on Doug Shields for actively supporting Ravenstahl--geez, I though Shields was becomming more decent after co-sponsoring the anti-abortion protestors bill, but I guess I was wrong. Personally, I was hoping for Twanda Carlisle or even Sala Udin to become President. I mean, of course Peduto would've been my first choice, but he doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of becomming Council Pres.--or at least not until some drastic reform happens (which, I assure you under Bobby O, it won't).
So now if Bobby O. dies or resigns, it's Luke Ravenstahl as Mayor. Great.
Though to be fair, I would've been WAAAAAY pissed if Jim Motznik had become President...
