Hot Dude Nerd Update #328678734597864895
So when I first watched Lost (many of you know how I love to hate that show) I was unsurprised at the actors involved (mainly TV actors.) I'd been watching Terry O Quinn on West Wing, that gorgeous peice of ass Sawyer was briefly on CSI (a show I don't watch, but I saw him on there changing channels one day), Daniel Dae Sum or whatever his name is was Gavin on Angel (I think) and Matthew Fox is from Party Of Five (another show I never watched) etc etc. And yes, I know Ian Somerhalder was on Smallville even though I don't watch that either, but he stood out to me as a dude that shouldn't be there. Having seen Rules Of Attraction a million times I knew he was better than some flavor of the year TV show.
Recently I've been rattling on about seeing Kairo, the Japanese horror movie about haunted emails (or some such nonsense) which isn't released til FUCKING MARCH on dvd here. And Hollywood in all its knowing turd-smeared glory has chosen to remake it already (to be fair it's been out in Japan for like 6 years - Tartan pull your finger out) as Pulse, starring Kristen Bell (the eponymous Veronica of Veronica Mars) and...Ian Somerhalder.
I was almost glad they killed off Boone, cause I thought he could do better, but apparently not. But hey, it could be an absolutely fabulous remake! ...cause so many of them are!.........

He *is* haute though.
