The weather might be getting colder, but I am staying warm. This week started well, let's just say studying for about 6 hours for biology exam and then failing it really puts a damper on your day. Adversely it takes something like The Ataris in concert to really make your week start to look up, and then realize that even though you did bad you are still above the average in biology.
You may think that my tool of a biology professor can only negatively impact my life and those in his class, but no, his evil spreads much further than that. How much further you ask? Throughout campus! The online homework that I have learned to despise, CAPA, is his creation. He has spawned a monster that now plagues the lives of thousands of Spartans!
On a much lighter The Ataris concert was amazing and it was my first mosh pit. I really don't know how I survived I like to think of it more a pinball game. The whole experience was amazing, except sweating like Jake, now I know why he has three deodorant.
While the weekend was drawing near to ending I finally had some more good news, Ashley was coming up to spend the night. It was a really awesome surprise and i'm still a little in shock that she came up, and I appreciate the risk she took as well. We went to dinner and watched some football and a movie, and had some alone time; all thanks to Jake, who generously went home, I really appreciated that. So after Ashley went home at 7 am I tried to go back to sleep but I couldn't fall asleep till I knew she was home safe...weird eh? She must have put a spell on me or something.
My parents came up at noon as well, I had a really eventful weekend so far but it was really nice to see them. We went to eat and then played racquetball with my dad, lets me just say that, he is definitely better than I am...still. That was a lot of fun even getting hit in the back of the head by his lazer shot, I took the hit and scored a couple points while he laughed, all in all, still not worth it.
If you total the good and the bad of the week I would say that I have had a pretty good week. Just shows that even if something bad happens the people you care about and who care about you can always make you feel better. Wow, that sounded sappy, though it's true. So on a positive note, Michigan State University is #1 in the BIG TEN!
