Because that's what it says on the first line of my hospital band thingy. Yeah, I went to the hospital today after I passed out at school. Heh, not all that fun. I will write about my day, mostly for my own purposes.
Well, in case you've never passed out before, this is what it feels like: first, you usually feel uncomfortably warm. After a while, the room seems way too hot and you'll be dizzy. Then, your vision gets blurred. Colors fade to black and white, and everything looks fuzzy- almost like looking through the screen of a static tv, right? Sometimes (but not always) you'll hear a loud buzzing in your ears. Your head will feel like......well, like it's not there. Then, black.
After they got me to the hospital, I had to wear a hospital gown type thing. It was way too huge. At least they let me keep my jeans. At this point I had the IV in my arm and the whole time I was there, it bugged the crap out of me. I was also hooked up to thingies to moniter my heart and blood pressure. I HATE the blood pressure thingy. I guess one reason I was there was because my blood pressure was low, but the stupid thing would go off every 15 minutes and squeeze my poor little arm. Ouchie ow.
The FUN thing I was hooked up to was on my finger. It was to moniter my oxygen. It was this little thingy that was clamped to my finger, and it I moved my finger around a lot, the little line on the screen would go up and down all funny. I'm too easily amused.
I had to get a blood test, and it HURT. The lady got blood on the sheets and on the floor and it was gross. I had to get a CAT scan, too. They make you lay down and....you go through a circle thing and you get a picture of your head. Yay. They also took an x-ray of my chest.
They made me wait for AGES. I started to freak out because I had blood in my IV, but they said it was normal. I was so happy to get out of there. I have....hypocalcemium or something. *shrugs*
Next adventure today- going to the orthodontist. Might get my braces off! ö
