Snagged from mah braintwin, I'mma try this, even though I don't quite have a firm grasp on the proper concept of headcanon XD

1. The first time he approaches her, she's in the library, doing homework by herself.

She looks so lonely, now and always, and when he makes her smile, he realizes he wants to see that side of her all the time.

2. The assignment is 'duets', and Mr. Schuester gives them the added caveat of singing with someone they've never sung with before.

Kurt stares appraisingly around at the rest of New Directions, but Blaine turns immediately to Quinn.

She accepts, smiling broadly, and he beams.

3. He leaves after a fight with his dad.

Kurt's out of town with his family, and the next person Blaine thinks of is Quinn.

It's the first time he's gone to her with a problem, after so many months of letting her cry on his shoulder, and she listens closely as they sit on her bed.

She calms him down and hugs him tightly, and when he looks wary about going back home, says he can stay the night.

They watch a few movies, stretched out side by side on her bed, and eventually fall asleep, her cheek pressed against his arm as his head rests against the top of hers.
