His lips are wet, because he kept licking them right up until first contact, and she crinkles her nose a little when it's over. She forces a smile when he opens his eyes, and then swipes the back of her hand over her mouth when he turns away.
She tells Juliet about it the next time she comes over for dinner, and is very adamant in stating that it definitely doesn't count as her first kiss.
Juliet's lips twitch as she nods, and then Hannah's expression turns curious as her mouth twists a little. "Does it get better?"
Juliet grins as she nods again, and raises one hand to tuck Hannah's hair behind her ear. "Yes, it gets a lot better."

2. It's not long after graduation that she decides she's ready.
She's over at Seth's new apartment one night, and in the midst of making out on the couch, she murmurs that she wants to move to the bedroom. He looks at her like Christmas just came early, and she laughs a little as he pulls her towards his bedroom.
She wants to take things slow, because even though they've done other things, they haven't yet gone all the way, and she wants it to be special. There's a little bit of pain, but it's not unbearable, though she gasps sharply just once when he pushes too hard, hissing for him to slow down. He obliges, apologizing as he kisses her.
It doesn't last very long, and he kisses her when it's over, asking if she liked it.
She smiles, and nods, and tells him she loves him before going into the bathroom to clean up and get dressed again. She stays a little while longer, sitting with him on the couch as they watch TV, and then heads home, because she hadn't planned on spending the night.
She pokes her head into her dad's office to let him know she's home, and then goes upstairs to shower. She sits on the edge of her bed after she's done, hands braced beside her as she stares at the pattern on the rug beside the bed, and then sighs.
It wasn't as special as she wanted it to be.

3. They don't mean for it to happen.
They've had a few glasses of wine when Madison jokingly asks if Hannah remembers that party where they played 7 Minutes in Heaven together, and Hannah giggles as she says she does. The next thing they know, they're kissing, and before long, they've moved to Madison's bedroom.
"God," Hannah breathes sometime later, lazily trailing her fingers over her bare stomach, "I haven't had an orgasm that good in like, four years."
Madison smirks, tracing the pattern of her bedspread with her nails. "Which one?"
Hannah stretches languidly, still feeling the vague pulsing of her last orgasm between her legs. "All of them."
Madison grins, and then frowns. "Wait, you broke up with Seth two years ago."
"I know."
"Lisey, that's sad."
Hannah sighs, and says again, "I know."
