Tonight I had the chance to finally see the film Ryan in its entirety of 15 minutes; previously I'd seen bits of it in a class way back in pre-production (including a talk by the director and narrator of the story), so I was really itching to see it.
First off, I know this is a cliche thing to say now, but this movie requires no chemical substances to be very creepy and weird. Second, I highly recommend it - at 15 minutes long, you've got little to lose too.
It's a true tale of creative genius squandered, and the wounds that come from within. It's highly personal, and probably speaks extra so for those who create, and brilliantly executed. Anyway, it's on TV once in a while, and is probably findable online. Just something to keep an eye out for.
