Gabriel would be horrified to know that Millie could possibly have interpreted his directions in this way. But then he should have known better than to send her to this more modern era without having had someone speak to her about the ideals and morals he expected her to follow. It's not as if she'd ever had anyone discuss these things with her.

She seemed stunned. All of her admittedly fuzzy imaginings featured a rather good-looking and definitely male person.
"And goddess, no, I haven't kissed anyone," she said blushing again. "At the temple there were only the priestesses, and at my other school just other girls, and at the castle, well, there was Christopher and the boot boy or the adults, but I wouldn't have... No, no, never."
