So Yeah, I Did It.

I now have a Twitter.

roseofdusk is the username I am going by. I was going to do stillthere4me, but got confused the first time I tried to set it up (I don't even know if that one was created or not). I'm not sure if this is going to be one I stick with or not (the only social networking sites I've ever been really active in are Facebook and LiveJournal. And for a few years in High School, Xanga. Myspace and DeviantArt and maybe a few others I don't remember I didn't stay very long with at all).

Anyway, it's a bit confusing. And the new facebook page was definitely modeled after it. I'm still trying to figure out if there is a way to get notified when someone replies to you. It doesn't seem like there is. Or maybe I just haven't figured it out yet.

The main attraction seems to be the fact that you can follow celebrities. The only one I've followed so far is Dan Schneider. XD Yes, the creator of iCarly and Drake & Josh (I doubt most of you didn't already know that). I don't expect to get any replies from him really (although that would be totally awesome and amazing), but because he's so active on groovy_smoothie and mentioning what's going on and taking pictures of the iCarly sets and stuff, it seems pretty cool anyway.

My friends are encouraging me to find other celebrities to follow...but like I thought with past social sites, it's going to be difficult to find actual celebrities and not just fake ones there. The difference is, since the site is set up to only really make you able to say short statements, that makes it easier to fake. But also, it makes it more likely that celebrities would have time to have one.

Eh, we'll see how it goes I guess...Anyone else have any thoughts on Twitter?
