Finally Done with Finals!
My vacation can finally begin!! I just had my last final (at 8AM dammit! All my others were 10:30 or later, and my Japanese class didn't start until 10:30 during the semester anyway!), which was happily much easier than I thought it would be! Partially, most likely, because the part I was most worried about--the oral--was cancelled. Because she wanted to make the final end quickly because there's supposed to be a major snowstorm/blizzard coming up the coast early today (although no sign of it yet, and everyone was freaking out that the school might close because of it...), so she just took it out. Which made me finish the final in about 45 mins...(again, sooner than I would've expected--I remember in high school finals being at the very least an hour--then again, this one was made shorter...). So, this makes me happy and I think I should be fine with the class if I did well on the final...I hope.
I think I'll feel much better once I get my grades (assuming they are good...). Because I don't think it's it me yet that I'm actually DONE with this semester.
So now I'm just hanging out in my dorm until 6 when my dad leaves. I could go home earlier by asking my grandmother to come get me, but I don't really feel like leaving just yet. I will once again try to write something until then. I want to get into the habit of writing again.
Oh! Also--I picked out a new moodtheme! I think I may end up doing a total refresh of my entire LJ...new icons, new layout, new moodtheme...not totally sure yet but I have a feeling I might. This one (and my old one which I realize I never gave credit for) is by sapphire_heaven at cute_moodthemes , who is absolutely excellent at creating these and makes so many great ones (if you are thinking about getting a better one than LJ automatically gives you, definitely check this person out--I garuntee you'll find something that you'll LOVE). This one is of Mew, who I'm sure most people recognize as the Pokemon character--if not from the games or cartoon (anime) series, than from the huge movie that was out only a few years ago, Pokemon the First Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back. I picked Mew because it's one of my favorite Pokemon (my awesome adorable little brother just bought me a plushie (stuffed animal) of Mew as an early Christmas present [along with a Pikman plushie] that I absolutely ADORE and was so incredibly sweet of my brother to do)--one of the most powerful legendaries and supposed ancestor of all, yet it acts just like a child prefering to play around than fight. It's adorably curious about random things, and uses it's powers much more often for fun than anything else--making a ball to bounce around on with it's psychic powers instead of attacking anyone. Which is almost the exact opposite of typical legendaries, which even if not cruel or over reaching with its powers, are usually very wise-acting or mature or responsible or self-sacrificing. Mew just typically acts like a chid unless it's a super-serious situation. I just love it. Plus, the moodtheme that cute_moodthemes made for it is just so adorable! XD So enjoy my new moodtheme. I also got a Mew userpic too (which I didn't use because it didn't fit this entry), so enjoy that as well..
