Okay, I should be sleeping, but i just had to post this.
My crazy suitemate (s) was just throwing a huge tantrum not even an hour ago (which where I am, was midnight) because she apparently caught her guy (whom she slept with, but was by no means boyfriend-girlfriend-ish with, i didn't even know about him) sleeping with another girl. Very loud tantrum, to the point of cursing and pacing throughout the entire dorm while screaming and crying and banging on things.
Then, her guy came in, and they had the whole pathetic teen movie speech of "she came on to me, i didn't mean to kiss her, she attacked me" etc. Seriously, pick the worst teen movie you could think of, and that's the dialogue.
Then there was a knock on our dorm door (which is still broken thanks to her key) and one of the guys from across the hall came in to inform us of a new unexpected twist in the plot (while my suitemate s and her guy were still arguing). Now, it turns out the "other girl" has right now alcohol poisoning. The guys across the hall are taking her to the hospital--only they need a car to do it.
My suitemate (s) happily hands them her (or my roommate's, I'm not totally sure who's exactly) car keys (with a threat that he'd better not get a scratch on the car--her's is a Mercedes) and was then laughing and skipping joyfully through the rooms while my roommate hurried to get dressed and accompany them to the hospital. Meanwhile, my suitemate was still happily laughing to the point that my roommate informed her she shouldn't be so happy about it--which she completely ignored.
Now, my suitemate s and her guy are back to arguing (it's now 1:30 in the morning, i have class at 9:30 but have to get up at 8 to get ready....), though not as harshly as before (she just screamed at him "I had a BAD DAY!") though just as pathetically.
And suddenly I'm not that upset at all that I don't have "someone" right now. I'm more sickened and disgusted at how happy my suitemate s got at this girl having alcohol poisoning (which people can DIE from) and she's still putting her relationship problems over everything else.
Although her 'guy' doesn't seem that concerned about this other girl either.
Some people are just sick with how selfish they can be...and are making relationships in college look awfully unattractive.
(HA! someone from outside just knocked on our main dorm door and told her to shut up while she was arguing with her guy...at least I'm not the only one disgusted with her)
Don't think I'll be getting any sleep tonight either....since she's back to yelling now and throwing a tantrum.
(well, might as well turn on my video of HSM2 and watch "I Don't Dance" to cheer myself up and forget about her and all the drama....XD yes, this is what I do to cheer myself up and block out the world...maybe write a fic too if she gets a bit quieter)
I need to get a more pissed-off icon....one more point for the "upgrade to paid account" debate....
