Learning the hard way
Every 4 hours, when the ibuprofen wore off, I was waking up to unsettling pain in my ankle, foot. Not a good nights rest at all. And all on husbands birthday. Great, what a present, a few hours in the hospital on my most precious hus' special day. Way to go. Lesson learned. Wheelchair, hobbling, literal boot splint, explaining, " What happened?" Trust me lesson learned. This doesn't seem like it is going to be a fast lesson though, considering 4-6 weeks is standard fracture recovery time. Most likely with a cast involved. Did I mention I practically never sit down? I am always on my legs (at work). Oh and it's my right foot. Forget driving. Definitely out of commission for a bit. This is ridiculous. Ridics.
