(no subject)
Well, Freshers' Week was a little bit crazy, to say the least. I've met so many people, and I have a lot of trouble remembering everyone's names :S Ging came down over the weekend, which was good, coz I was starting to feel a bit too overwhelmed about the whole thing and he calmed me down and made me feel better. :)
I'm getting on realy well with my room-mate Leila, and I seem to be spending most of my time hanging out with her, a girl called Kate who she knew from school, Vicky, who's Kate's room-mate, and Hannah, who's on my theology course. I've been a little bit more boring this week, as I stayed in two nights in a row (I know, I'm letting the side down), but in all fairness, I am knackered all the time coz Leila has lots of 9am lectures and so I get woken up at 7.30 every morning. On Monday night I did go to the pub quiz at the Ram with Gemma and Jo and a guy they know called Dave, and it was lots of fun, hehe. Didn't get too drunk. And I've just been down to the Ram again with a whole load of people from our hall. We were playing a game where basically someone says 'I have never...' and then says something that they've never done, and anyone who has done it has to stand up and drink. Needless to say, it gets quite funny, and ends up with people revealing a lot more than they would normally. There was only one occasion when I was the only person who had to stand up and drink though, and I was actually surprised no-one else had done it. I'm not really sure what that says about me. They were also playing a game which I really don't understand, and it has lots of complicated rules, and they keep adding to it as well :S It's basically one of those games where you go round in a circle with people saying a number, but there are lots of numbers where you have to say something different, or the order reverses, or you have to skip a person, etc. I got confused very quickly!
But anyway, I'm going to go and have a shower and go to bed, coz I'm tired and smelly ;)
