A Day I will Never Forget
It makes me sad to think about 9/11, but i think its important to remember & reflect. I remember waking up to go to school and watching the TV in shock. The girl that i tutored just broke down at school while we were watching the CNN reports during class. Her uncle was on one of the planes so i spent the rest of the class period comforting her. I felt so bad for her. It was so far away. yet it seemed so close. I am thankful. Thankful that i was unaffected by the horrific events of 9/11, but i feel for all those whose lives were tragically changed forever. Hopefully one day the world will unite and evil acts like the events on 9/11 will be impossible.
