snowing?

It has been snowing for the last few hours but not sticking.
Very strange weather here on the second of November.
I was in Borders yesterday and they were taking down the halloween stuff and putting up christmas merchandise.
Is it really time for this already? It was a month ago that the kids were still doing the slip n' slide.
