Aya-chan! You work at the Koneko back home, right? I've taken over Nectar right next door, you want to work there? It's like having something familiar from back home.
Hi, Omi! I did work there after I woke up... It's really sweet of you to remember that and ask me. I don't think I've fully decided what I want to do here yet.
Aya-chan! I was over in the village, and I saw that the tavern's having a speed dating event for Valentine's Day. I think it'll be fun, and I was wondering... do you think Ran-kun would loosen up a bit if we entered him?
I have to enter him anyway, or I'll never get peace for my own dates. But it'll be nice to have a co-conspirator. That way neither one of us has to own the consequences of it. Let's do it!
[Irial is seated in the space of his open window, knees propped up against one side, his head resting back against the other, casually holding the Dreamberry. He stares at the screen as if there are eyes on the other end to look into, rather than glass and an lens he can barely make out]
Aya. [He murmurs, his voice clear over the rustling breeze, the evening crickets, the dancing trees. Irial is comfortable here, with the air conditioning from inside the mansion on one side and the open air rushing towards him from the other.
[While he seems to hesitate, the dark faery really has nothing further planned to say. He just stares at the Dreamberry, imagining she will watch this. Towards the end of the message he smiles a little and closes his eyes, relaxing his head back against the window frame. And the call ends]
[Aya sees. She sees and is caught. She stares back as though spellbound when he calls her name. Her chest feels heavy. Her body feels hot. Her muscles are tense.
[She shouldn't go; she has work in the morning. Oh, but she doesn't want to be away from him; it's almost painful to be. She swallows, glances at her closed door.
[Hands faintly trembling, she slips out as quietly as she can and runs for him.]
[Ken's been shouting at the dialtone: now he's shouting at Aya's voicemail. He sounds angry, he sounds breathless, but most of all he sounds panicked - though he'd deny that one if challenged.]
--ya. Aya! Dammit! Pick up. Pick up, you... you're okay, right? You gotta be okay, you-- you just gotta, Aya-- look, call me. Whenever you get this, call me!

[Aya's hair is disheveled and her face is dirty but she doesn't seem to be showing any signs of injury, not even minor ones. She appears to be in her apartment.]
Ken, I'm so sorry, I'm here! You're not hurt are you? Do you need help? I was in the shop and-- some things fell and we're going to need new pots but I'm not hurt and where are you? I haven't seen you at all! I thought you'd be at the apartments but you're not!
[Ken yawns, half-stifling it behind one hand. It's probably not giving away too much to say he's bleary-eyed and no more than half-awake, and his hair very obviously needs a brush. Hope you like boys in pajamas, Aya, because that's what you're getting here.]
Uh... yeah. Sorry. I guess I was in a sleep coma or something. I'm kinda up now, so... well, I figured you should know. Hope to see you soon?
