[Somehow, it's almost painful to hear Luffy responding. He's so happy and free and alive. She knows nothing of what else he may have seen or lived-- only that she wishes she could have spared him having to see this.]

[She says this very quickly, as though afraid Luffy may in fact doubt she knows this already.]

[She feels about 1000x better now. She was actually really scared Luffy might be mad at her. He'd have had a right to be if you asked her. She smiles back, the relief plain across her face. He really does understand.]
