[Aya appears in what is likely her bedroom. A lamp fills the room with a soft orange glow, and giant fluffy pillows behind her suggest she's reclining against her headboard. She flashes a hopeful smile for the camera.]

Ne, does anyone know the best bookstore to go to for romance novels? Or a good book rec for that category? It'd help me out a lot!

[Here be Vincent, ringin' her up. <3 Have a friendly-friendly smile~]

I do believe there's a very large bookstore in the shopping district. I think that would suit the needs of the young miss quite nicely.

Ah, thank you! I've heard there's a library as well, but there might be some good books at the bookstore the library doesn't have!

I'd certainly rather go to a bookstore. After all, once you find the book you like, you can keep it for as long as you'd like. A library doesn't have the same kind of freedom to it, wouldn't you agree?

That's true. But you don't need money for the library! And you can find out if you like the book enough to be worth buying it if you go to the library first.

[Makes a thoughtful, somewhat worried face.] Of course, I always forget to take it back and end up having to pay a late fee anyway...

Ah, it seems like the little miss is a tad confused.

That's a shame.

Ah-- it's not that. I'm sorry, I'm just babbling. There are pros and cons to each place, but I can understand why you'd like the bookstore better.

I think the little miss misunderstands me. I could be sad.

After all, money is not a problem in this place. Everything is free for the taking. In lieu of that, bringing money to a bookstore would be a rather strange thing to do, wouldn't it?

[Ducks her head in embarrassment.]

I guess I'm still not used to this place. My brother and Omi have done most of the shopping so... I guess you're right! It would be rather silly to choose the library.

[Why, hello there cute loli. Will be leaning forward to smile at her in such a charming fashion~]

A new arrival, little miss? My, they sound quite protective.

[Should not be enjoying that smile as much as she is, and definitely should not be showing her enjoyment as much as she is.]

Eheh, they are a little. [Coughs] A lot. But I appreciate that Oniichan cares so much... I just...

[Have more smiling. <3 Vincent's a charming and harmless man, Aya. You wouldn't suspect him of anything bad, now, would you? ;D]

Ahaha, that's terrible. I guess they were only thinking of your safety, and not of your mental well-being, weren't they. That's not helpful at all.

[Smile fades as she considers that perspective.]

I guess... It would be nice if he realized I'm not still fifteen.

[Not that you would know it by looking at her. Girl stopped aging on her sixteenth birthday for reasons yet to be understood |D ]

It can get a little isolating being in the apartment all the time.

My, that could be frustrating. To be both unacknowledged and treated as though one were an invalid. If it were me, I wouldn't like that at all.

Are you lonely, young miss?

[Looks somewhat uncertain, because she's sure that isn't really how she feels, but she doesn't know how exactly to clarify. Finally just smiles.]

I should give it some time; I've only been here a week. But... I would like to meet more people. And it's a little difficult to, but I know Oniichan just has my best interests at heart. Even if he is a little biased about what side of my best interests he's looking out for.

[A slight pause. And his smile widens.]

What an understanding young miss. You must have a very beautiful heart, to be so kind and charming to those who cannot see the full picture.

Would you like some help in breaking the monotony?

[Can't help a bit of a defeated smile.]

I guess I would... a little...
