I saw Grindhouse last night. It proved that Tarantino's a better director than Rodriguez. Here are some of the reasons why:
1. Subject: Honestly, what else can you do with a zombie movie? It's all been done, pretty much. And if there was anything else to do, Rodriguez didn't do it. Tarantino, on the other hand, rewrote the idea of a serial killer.
2. Dialogue: Rodriguez's seemed forced, Tarantino's was... well, Tarantino-esque.
3. Ending: Rodriguez finished like half of zombie movies end. Tarantino's ending was awesome.
4. Believability: There were so many things wrong with Death Proof. I didn't really understand how some people turned into zombies and others didn't.
So yeah, there's more but that's about it. Overall, though, it was fun. I'd recommend it.
