But they've only known each other for a few months, he's still got romantic cynicism, and this is just a mask. It's way too soon to actually like her like that.

But this is a mask that's got a strong influence over him and is prone to making him act and think all warm and fuzzy.

Vivid hallucinations. I didn't get hurt, but it was still pretty rough.

[And not particularly something he likes to think about. Not to mention he and Xion... hah. It almost felt like he had a chance.]

I'm really sorry to hear that. [If they're anything like some genjutsu, then they're bad.] I can only imagine how rough it must have been.

You'd be surprised, though. Kept hurting for a while, just for different reasons.
