Depends on your definition of "monster".

Wellll if you define monsters as the heartless and nobodies from where we're from, I guess that makes me one of the monsters.

It'd help if I actually knew what those were, but you don't exactly look like a monster to me.

You know, I still wonder why they have yet to tell you anything. I mean, it's not that horrible what happened. Ah, well. And no, some of us look more human than the others.

[...they told him alright, but he won't mention it. Instead--]

So what sets you apart? You look pretty normal to me.

First let's start off with a history lesson, shall we? Heartless. They come in all shapes and sizes, and they're what you get when a person loses their hearts. A heartless is an actual heart, just it's been corrupted by darkness and is now nothing but a monster. Following me so far? So what happens to the actual person? That's when the nobodies come in. You know, the other monsters. They're the leftovers. Just a body with a soul, and no heart. Most heartless and nobodies don't have humanoid forms. But! When you get a person with a strong heart and they lose it-lets just say someone like Sora-you get a nobody like me. Got it memorized?

Sure. Still, how can you even lose your heart to begin with?

You should ask Sora that. After all, he does have firsthand experience.

He would.

I guess it's more entertaining to you this way.
