Saturday night at work wasn't horrible...
Tommy and I played games on the headsets "and the cheese...and the pickles...and the pickles!"
Then when a customer would come through i would say "hi can help you" and he would repeat their order then i would tell them to drive up. People were so confused.
I took home a lot of danishes for Tom when he arrived yesterday morning promptly at 10:23.
We went to Rica's grad/retirement/50th birthday party. So many old people and there were only 2 young girls but they drove us crazy. We pretty much just sat around and talked with her cousin danny, who's 13, but looks older then me for christ sake. We played Bacci! Crazy italians...i have no strength.
Tom took me home around 5:15 so I could get ready for work. We lazyed around and such then he dropped me off at work around 6. He went to hang out with Erika and I hear they had a great time. She seemed really happy and so did he. I'm glad. :)
I worked my ass of last night. Pam had a lot of visitors. I got into work and then everyone clocked out and such and then I clocked in and changed, turned teh corner and there was Brenda (my boss) sitting there waiting to speak with me. She started talking about my hours and how they are steadily increasing but I keep taking days off so that's not working. (I'm part time.. 20 hours a week max. Right now she has me working anywhere from 25-35 hours...ILLEGAL) If she's gonna start making me work more then part time, then she should pay me more then part time.
Pam came in, everyone left, I went next door and ordered chicken fingers for the both of us :) Sammy (the crazy italian next door) told me I couldn't have them and I thought i was goign to die. Good thing he was just busting my chops.
Pam's 3 kids came in, then pam's neighbor, then Pams friend from the Lane. Then Pam's aunt came in. By then it was 9:00 and I had done everything except mop the floor and donut throws. Her old time guy friend came in at 9:00 and stayed till 10:30 so pam stood and talked with him. So i did donut throws while Tom sat and watched haha. She started to feel bad about everything so I told her to mop the floor...she's 13yrs older then me :)
I wasn't bothered by all the people that came in today, just that she took 20 minutes to get around to cleaning the floor so we didn't end up leaving till 10after close and Tom was in the parking lot waiting.
He was so tired too. I begged my mom to let him stay over. He was gonna leave early anyway, but she said no. I sat here praying to go he didn't fall asleep at the wheel or something. At 12:57 I got a little over edgy and deicded to go to bed. I figured if anything happened I would A) find out from Mickey or B)call him when I got up if i didn't know yet.
He left me a messge to tell me he was ok. That gay man always knows haha.
Tonight I work 7-cl. What an odd hour. But i get my paycheck! Get to work with Tommy I think. I asked for Wednesday off on Sunday night. (Left brenda a note) so she gave it to me. Then I realized that she scheduled me for saturday...which is the SD birthday bash at the living room. I KNOW I TOOK THAT OFF OVER 2 WEEKS AGO!!!!!! So I started freakign out. Tommy's working that ngiht so obviously he can't cover for me. Pam said she'd do it. I feel horrible. She's work 6am-12pm. Then 6pm-11pm. She said she has a pool party in betwix so I think that would be a good night to bring her pancakes hmm?
Tuesday I have off but I don't really wanna do much. I need to work on the magazine, focus on that for a day, and catch up on some much needed rest. My back is killing me from working 4 straight days. I work everyday this week but tuesday and wednesday.
Usually it's tuesday and thursday but she scheduled me on for that. Oi Vey.
Maybe I'll go apply for a job at Phil's on tuesday?!
Wednesday (even though it's my day off) I'll be working. Tom and I are going up to the VFW (Rica may come!) to check it out for the battle. I think if i can manage to use that hall, plus pay for it upfront, I can have this thing rolling in less then 2 weeks.
Thursday/Friday i'm working 4-cl.
Saturday is the show. Bringing pam pancakes. Sunday I work 6-cl.
*yawn* that's all for today. I recommend doing two things when your finished reading this.
