Are all the ports this sordid and terrible?  One must admit to a certain measure of curiosity.

I appreciate that it's been a long time waiting for some but in my very humble opinion, the sooner we leave this wretched place, the better.  I'm starting to think I rather preferred the original ancient Rome.

I'm afraid not, Miss Sweet. Although I confess that I could imagine why you are.

You just need to loosen up a little...learn to have fun.

I know precisely how to have fun. The sort of thing I enjoy simply hasn't been offered by this particular port.

What do you enjoy, then?

Plenty of things. Classical music and opera, certain cinematic offerings, literature, fine wines...you know. Things. One simply isn't...excessive.

Opera? You know I'm an opera singer, right?

He really shouldn't. :c still_ineffable August 9 2009, 23:03:56 UTC
I did not, Miss Sweet. I was under the impression that you were some sort of businesswoman?

Oh, I am. But my company happens to stage the Genetic Opera, and I'm the star.

I see. Talent always lies in the most unexpected places, Miss Sweet; I didn't have you pegged as a singer at all.

Oh, I have many talents I'm sure you haven't pegged me for, Azi.

I. Well. Hm.

I'm sure you have.
