Willow never asks her about what life was like before she moved here, and Tara supposes it’s because she can tell it’s a sore subject.
It’s a relief, really, not to talk about her father and that whole awkward time when most kids were dealing with zits and getting a date to prom, even though she was more concerned about sprouting horns and a tail.
Not that she doesn‘t worry about that anymore, but for right now? She just wants to be that awesome person that Willow seems to think she is, even if she doesn’t turn out that way.
