For me this was kind of a dark piece. Poor Spike never to really get to enjoy the sunrsie again...

Spike always seems so full of enjoyment about life, it never really struck me what, precisely, he had lost in becoming a vampire. This made much more of an emotional impact that the Harsh Light of Day scene (which was played for laughs). This is really affecting. Well done.
