My eyes are even slightly bloodshot. This was quite lovely, especially the poem's last line. The poem was a fitting memorial indeed.

Oh, thanks so much! I'm very glad this evoked that scene - which truly is a heroic one, and the prelude to a triumphant tragedy for some or all of them.

I was very touched by the Lorne verse, but then the Gunn verse topped it. Great job.

Thank you so much. I wish I could have worked on the verse more, but sometimes it's just not quite there. But I'm glad the emotional side comes across well.
