I'm so glad you enjoyed this. The idea of Faith and Weevil together just kinda hit me over the head the other day as being one very hot couple, so I had to write something about them.

And yes, I was going to crosspost it last night, but then I watched Veronica Mars and got seriously distraught because they killed one of my favorite characters (not naming names, don't want to be accused of spoiling it for anyone), so I'm off to crosspost now.

As someone who gave up on VM when they more or less wrote Weevil out, I have to say: I love this. Seriously. They would be a perfect couple... probably not for long, but... still.

Thanks! I think Weevil and Faith would be an awesome couple for whatever time they'd last together.

And I totally hear you on the Weevil thing. This season has really been sadly lacking in the Weevil department (and in the Wallace department and now killing one of my favorite characters last night - gah, I'm not happy with VM right now!).

Yeah, I've gathered that fans are pretty pissed off with Rob Thomas right now... personally, I put my VM watching on indefinite hiatus about 4 episodes into s3. It seems to me that after about 1/3 of s2, someone did a survey of what people loved about the show (the interaction between a great ensemble, the smart-outsider thing, the noir tributes (if you haven't watched Brick, you should), the personal connections in the mysteries, etc) and then decided to get rid of all of it in favour of cases-of-the-week that no one really cared about and a lot of new "regulars" which were given even LESS screen time than the old regulars, and plot lines that didn't go anywhere. It felt like the only remaining reason for watching it was that... well... KB is cute. A pity; it used to be on its way to being a great show.

Phew. Rant over. All IMO.

Argh, I think you must be right about the survey because everything I used to love about VM has been sorely lacking for a while. And I think pissed off is an understatement. I get angrier everytime I think about last night's episode and every VM fan I've talked to last night and today is outraged.
