Harmony yawned, skimming the dusty hardbacks with little interest, even though they had titles like Ancient Romanian Death Chants and One Hundred Spells for the Solitary Voodoo Practitioner.
They weren’t what she was after.
She stood on her tiptoes and peeked over the counter before yelling: “Mr. Giles!”
His eyes widened as he walked out. “Yes, Harmony?”
“Where are all your copies of Elle?”
“Um, excuse me?”
“Elle. It’s a magazine…”
“I don’t believe we have a subscription.”
“Alright, since you don’t have… you have books on tape, right?” She frowned. “Wow, are you okay? You’re coughing an awful lot.”
