I'm squeeing a bit, as I've managed to have a peek at some scans of the comics so it feels kind of good to actually really catch the references and know what's going on.
Any chance for a sequel-y type thing?

It's weird, I had this one thing pop into my head last spring (in the middle of yoga class, of all times). Just an image of Remus holding Faith by the elbow and her pulling away. Never had any idea what I'd do with it, and then this week's challenge seemed the perfect opportunity.
Which is a round about way of saying I have no idea if I'll ever do anything more with this or not. But it's flattering to hear that you'd be interested in more! :-)

Nice interaction with Remus too, and her thinking that maybe her type hasn't been working for her. The etiquette stuff kicking in was a great touch. I esp liked:
Faith’s jaw never dropped. That wasn’t something it did. So that didn’t happen. But it kind of felt like it wanted to.

it speaks volumes about her assumptions about what life it like for a child.
I'm glad that came through. I can really see her being the toughie who can't stand to see a kid hurt, both because of her own childhood and because of that bit in comic #6 where she had to dust all those kids who'd been turned.
I esp liked ...
Yay! That bit was fun to write. :-)

Thank you very much! I'm glad you liked that bit about the spell.

Honestly, I'm shocked it occurred to me. I literally just had this image flash through my mind (in the middle of a yoga class, no less) of Remus taking her by the elbow and Faith pulling away. That was it. It took a year to figure out what to do with it, but it wouldn't go away! LOL
