Like second breakfast

Since I've been working 4/10s, I have two Saturdays each week. Now I know how the Hobbits must have felt when they were eating "second breakfast." Awesome!

Since I can't do any running around what-so-ever Monday through Thursday, I'm finding that my Fridays are packed with errands. Yesterday I had my nails filled, got a haircut, got a new phone, (I had had my phone for almost six years and it was on its last legs.) Here's a picture:

I got the purple one. And Kately is having to show me how to navigate around it. Did you know that it is almost impossible to buy a 'plain' phone? Geez... The Star Trek PADD is just around the corner. Oh, WAIT! The I-Phone is just like a PADD.

Today we're going to finish uprooting the ceramic tile from the back patio and prepare to over-lay and stain it in time for Parker's graduation party.

My mother-in-law lost her bid for Mayor. Thank goodness! Last time she was mayor she got run down by a deputy sheriff in a squad car. He swears it was an accident. But he fled the scene. Then he returned to ask, "Ms. JoAnn, did I hit you with the squad car?" ACK!

I'm expecting a call later this morning from a young lady named Carissa. She is a college student and fellow member of Sam's Cafe at copperbadge. Kately and Amber are sitting for pictures for Carissa's college photography class. Seems fun to me, and it helps Carissa with her class.

I've an appointment at a Medifast clinic a week from yesterday. Geez... It's a constant battle of the bulge for me.
