Kinda sad
This weekend I discovered that my father (we were estranged) who died in 1994, still does not have a headstone. Weird, and oddly sad. I can't stop thinking about it. What is the deal? Why doesn't he have one? He is buried in Kendall, Wisconsin. I wanted to see if the cemetery had screen caps of headstones. (Many do) Via Google I was able to find a list of people buried there, but the list only consisted of those with headstones. His name wasn't on the list, but I know for a fact he is buried at Glendale Cemetery in Kendall.
One of these days I'm going to visit his burial site. He may not have been a part of my life as I grew up, but he was my father.
