Utter confusion.

That was what Junsu was feeling as he read the contents of the paper. His hyung had angrily said it was “his” ad-the calls earlier even backed it up-but this was not the ad he made. It was something entirely different.

“Speak.”

Yunho’s eyes narrowed at Junsu, whom felt like he was being interrogated for a heavy crime. The younger man tried to clear his head before placing the paper down to look at the older man.

“I didn’t write this.”

Yunho raised an eyebrow and tried his best not to explode again. It would be better if he let Junsu explained his side of the story even for just a while.

“Really? You said to me a few days ago you were already typing it.”

“I was. But...” Junsu shook his head. “The one I typed has remained in my laptop. Untouched for the past few days. This one… This one is not mine. I never posted anything on a dating site.”

“Are you sure about that?” his hyung’s voice was edgy but he could still detect a hint of concern there.

Junsu nodded. Upset was settling in him as his mind finally realized what other effects that ad could do to him and his work. Slowly, Junsu opened his laptop and clicked on the browser. He typed in “TohoDating.com” and a few seconds later, the site loaded. His eyes were immediately drawn to the icon of his picture located on the right. Junsu wanted to click on it and find out more but he couldn’t quite bring himself to do it. Junsu didn’t want to know what else was there, figuring he just needed to confirm what he had feared.

Junsu quickly closed his laptop and sighed.

“Hyung, I swear I didn’t post this up,” he said. “I wasn’t planning to do it anymore… You have to believe me.”

The troubled look on Junsu’s face was enough to convince Yunho of his friend’s innocence. He sighed and finally sat down on the chair in front of the writer’s desk.

“Fine… I believe you.”

Junsu looked up at him and smiled, “Thanks, hyung.”

“I’m sorry for getting angry at you earlier… It’s just that… Changmin… well…”

“Hyung. It’s okay. Your reaction was normal.”

“Well, not really. I acted too angry. I just thought you really posted it up,” Yunho sighed. “I guess I didn’t want you to experience what I have experienced in the past.”

Junsu shifted in his seat and looked curiously at his hyung. Yunho had had his head hung low looking like he was pondering something serious.

“Hyung…” Junsu muttered, hesitating if he should ask or not. But he didn’t need to.

“I was eighteen when I met Lee Donghae,” Yunho started. He had forgotten about this part of his life for a long time but now that the memories had resurfaced, he just wanted to get them out somehow. “I was crazy then. He advertised himself on a site and I was actually a fool for finding him charming and answered his ad… Donghae was 5 years older than me. But I didn’t care. I thought I was in love back then…”

Yunho sighed. He paused for a few moments before continuing.

“It was a stupid thing to begin with. Come to think about it now, Donghae never really cared about me.”

There was another pause and Junsu knew that Yunho was having hard time retelling his memories.

“Hyung… what happened?”

“He was just after my father’s money. I was a spoiled child. Appa was generous when it comes to money. And Donghae used me to get it. He would always request for things when we were on dates, always said he spent his money on his mother’s hospital bills. I blindingly believed. Eventually those requests grew into bigger things. I even let him borrow my credit card a few times… But luckily, my father knew about this. He told me to break up with Donghae as soon as possible. I was still too stupid and naïve at the time. I didn’t heed his words but then…”

Yunho paused. He felt a lump in his throat as he remembered his most painful memory.

“…I caught him in bed with another guy. The worst part was that they were talking about me while they’re together. Donghae referred to me as his ‘bank’. That stupid advertisement was only to lure unsuspecting and stupid guys, like me… I never was the same after that.”

“I’m sorry,” Junsu said, unable to think of any more other appropriate words to say.

“Don’t be,” came his hyung’s reply.

Yunho played with his fingers. After finally telling that story, he finally felt relieved, like a ten-ton weight he was carrying all these years was finally lifted. He smiled a little, knowing that he was now over that Lee Donghae.

Yunho smiled and slowly stood up. “Well, I just wanted to get that off my chest… Thanks for listening.”

Junsu nodded.

Yunho was about to head towards the door when he remembered something. “Call the site now and tell them about it. Tell them that ad was uncalled for and should be taken down.”

“I was just about to do that.”

“Oh, and about Changmin… I’ll talk to him first.”

Junsu wanted to disagree with him but he found no good reason to do so. Instead, he just nodded blankly.

“Jagiya, I’m off.” Hyun Jin whispered to Yoochun’s ear as she hugged him from behind. She moved her head down and trailed small, wet kisses on her lover’s neck. Yoochun only groaned.

“Take care,” he muttered with faux sincerity. Yoochun turned around and kissed her full on the lips. Hyun Jin smiled at him sweetly before heading out the door.

What am I doing? Yoochun had let his mind slipped for a mere second. He immediately shoved away the thoughts on the back of his head and smiled. What’s he doing regretting it? What’s there to regret? Hyun Jin was here. She loved him and she’s the perfect one for him. She’ll never caused him any pain or suffering. There’s no negative side to her.

Only, she’s not Junsu.

Yoochun shook his head. Enough about this. Junsu made it clear. He wasn’t the least bit interested with him. Why should he waste his time?

Yoochun let out a sigh and sat down on the dinner table. He opened his laptop and started browsing the internet. By chance, he accidently clicked an ad to a dating site and it opened a window. Yoochun was about to close it when he suddenly saw something. Yoochun blinked a few times-just to make sure he wasn’t dreaming it-before clicking the icon. What he saw made his mouth fall open.

“Kim Junsu, 23, famous columnist from the famous Vogue Korea.

Likes writing and photographing young men for columns. Also loves dolphins, sushi and red wine. Hobbies include singing, dancing, writing and conversations over coffee.

Looking for a sensitive guy who likes romance and adventure. Should also have model looks and height requirements for more benefits, either for your career or for your personal life. Should also be adventurous and willing to do anything.”

Yoochun read the ad several times. He was aghast. Never in a million years did he expect Junsu to do something and to write something like that. It was unbelievable. It seemed like Junsu was becoming so desperate that he would do anything, just anything now.

And as Yoochun read the ad again for the 13th time, he finally convinced himself that he was right at choosing Hyun Jin.
