We had an earthquake yesterday! Pretty cool! It's kinda funny, I live in the most boring town ever! It's name translated mean big ditch, but it's been an earthquake magnet lately.
Algebra started out as any other class had, teachers talks, tells us to get out are homework and such. Of course, I already have mine out so I'm just sitting there and I feel like I am shaking. I just kinda of figured that someone was shaking the desk. I looked around the room to (one) see if anyone else noticed and (two) check if anything was shaking. You see, ever since our 6.5 I've been kind of paranoid. And as the light shaking went on I noticed it was getting stronger and then finally other people started noticing. And we just sort of sat there thinking: What do we do? Like the idiots we are we don't get under the desks.
We just sit there. Then the shaking stops and *then* the alarms in our school go of. Slow, don't you think?
We've had a few (500) afterschocks the largest one at 5.0 this morning. I think I felt that one. What I really ate though is that sometimes you don't *feel* the aftershocks you just get really dizzy. Like you've gotten up to fast.
Of course, now we are back to boring everyday life here in the Big Ditch.
