I have to go get my dad from the train station, but before that I had to leave a comment because this was AMAZING.
I think my favorite part? And one of the reasons why I love you writing chibi arashi? When you were describing younger Jun, when he was raw and tight and full of so much pressure and stress during his teenage years. The years when he was grumbly and surly and mean rather than teasing, the years he'd have outbursts and would be outright rude to people. I could feel it in this story, the delicate balancing act of just trying to keep his head on straight as nothing went right while nothing was really going wrong. It's the quintessential concept of heartsick, in my opinion. And it makes me hurt for him. ♥
And AIBA. GUH. I owe you more, but I really have to go right now. You're amazing and I have missed your writing!
asdkjlflkasdjfa so gorgeous. i know i never really have any words for you when i comment on your fic but i love it, all of it, the details and the way you write each character is just so heart-breakingly perfect. thank you
Ajdhdm, I'm all teary and SO HAPPY, this makes my heart hurt with happiness. I love tiny Jun and Aiba not letting him sink into his sulky self. And Aiba BUYING HIM A WEDDING RING. I love thta it had five diamonds, btw, Arashi love. :) This is just the most perfect thing ever. I love you.
Late (as always) but I wanted to say that I am so, so, so happy you liked this. I always want to live up to you--your writing and your faith in mine--so thank you. Plus, I love Aiba and Jun and your prompt was fantastic so. Yes. Happy! I am so happy. ♥
And yes, the five diamonds were for Arashi. The original ring I was looking at (yes, I did go looking) had six.
