An old, old, old HP repost

Talking to my kids and mentioned a fic I did once for the Raising Harry ficathon. They demanded to read it so I found it, polished it up, and here it is.

Love you, kids.

Oh. Love. Love love love love love love love love love this. I haven't read an HP fic in I don't know how long, and a Remus/Sirius in even longer.

And I love the premise, and I love the characterization, and I love bb!Harry, and I want to spazz and cry over your scenes cause they're so beautiful and you win so hard for this. I'm really glad you reposted it cause I really enjoyed reading it. It made my heart happy.

Good lord.

LOL I had just been talking with a friend about HP and the oooooooold days of epic and wonderful fic. And then you post this and I feel like I've read it before but it's been so long that it seemed so completely new.

There were so many things that I really, really liked about this. The fact that, had Remus had enough contact with Sirius prior to his arrest, I could absolutely see this happening. Especially the casual kidnapping on the part of Sirius, just picking the 5-year-old up out of the garden. Don't mind me~ That.... That is very Sirius Black, XD.

And then there was this one bit while they were having sex...

"Now what?" he asked, half lost and a little unsure. He pressed his hips forward, moving by blind instinct, and lost his breath in a groan.

"That will do nicely," Remus gasped beneath him.

That was so very, very painfully British. LMAO That might seem random, but that was my first thought and I sort of fell in love wwith those three sentences just because of that.

I love this, too. I've lost count of how many times I've read it. Thank you.
