I think we've talked before about Sho's love of Nino. I still have great respect and adoration of the fact that Sho's love is not a sexual one where Nino is concerned but that doesn't make it any less deep or any less intense. I'm not sure what most people usually think of when they read or even write a fallen angel story, but I think that you captured here perfectly that Sho, as an angel, loved Nino enough to defy God and forsake heaven to save him. There's nothing even possibly superficial about that connection and the fact that Nino is Sho's anchor in the mortal world is further evidence of this fact.
I feel like this entire au, even if it just started as something silly and a little dirty, is turning into just a testament to love in all it's many shades. Aiba was right for calling Sho a douche bag because it was unfair to tell Aiba he didn't love Nino and that he didn't understand. Aiba didn't have a god or a heaven or anything that needed to be sacrificed to prove his love, but it doesn't make it any less real or true than Sho's. Then there's the romantic love between Ohno and Nino that's at least alluded to (BUT COMPLETELY UNEXPLORED SO FAR, HINT HINT) and I just. I'm in awe of the fact that not only do you understand the different levels and ways a person can love, but that you can convey them in such a visceral way. It's nothing short of beautiful, and despite what I said a few sentences ago I am in love with the fact that the main love story for this universe has nothing to do with romantic love.
