Bought the wench a nice big scratching post today.
It has black posts and 2 grey 'lounging' areas.
After choosing the one I liked, with much advice from other shoppers, and handing over much hard earned cash, I looked sideways at the sales assistant and said, 'do you have any cat-nip spray?'. The sales assistant looked sideways, ducked under the counter and popped up saying, 'give it a good squirt with this one'. So it got a good dousing for free!!!!!
After wrestling it home on 2 different trams, (it makes a good portable seat), I plonked the wench on it with a good scritch. I even gave a quick demonstration of its intended purpose, but that's just between us.....right...right...
Well she gave it a reserved, but not entirely disapproving sniff. I wandered off to give her some space to get aquainted. 5 minutes later she was lying upside down, with her legs hanging off the edge. She is such a delicate child *shakes head*.
But she likes it!!!!!
