It's been a while, so.....
Well, things are, well, good!
Which is a nice change ;-)
Have been back at yoga for 2 weeks, which has been great! Especially since I've not been _able_ to do any exercise since I got sick last March.
I'm not quite up to gym work yet, but this week I've managed to walk from home to Borders, (South Yarra), as its quicker than the tram, and back....and....walk from the 'office' to a client in North Melbourne and back, (they're not that stingy, but it was quicker, and less of a drama, than a cab).....all whilst carrying my laptop ;-) So things are definitely looking up on the current 'tub-o-lard' front.
Currently taunting the wench with soft toy my mother mailed me. Yes, it is safer not to ask.
Concentration and friskiness also improving. So I'm enjoying work a lot more, as I'm actually getting some more interesting stuff done, (you should have seen me and another female tech perched in front of 2 laptops with cables taped to the door jambs, staring intently at scrolling data on the laptops trying to spot a particular sequence, whilst trying to stop our eyeballs rolling up into our heads as they followed the speeding information. God knows what the vets thought. Particularly when we yelped with delight when we got one!).
I'm also getting out on occasion to socialise with friends again!!!!
I really have missed you lot!
(Shame I can't afford to go clubbing tonight)
My totally unexpected, found completely out of the blue, after I'd given my current flatmates notice to leave, new flatmate moves in tomorrow. I've been cleaning. I've finally got the dust levels in the corners of this place down to 'manageable'. Since last march I really wasn't well enough to care, or notice, what a complete 'sty' this place was becoming. I did contemplate paying a professional once or twice, but wasn't really well enough to get that organised. I really should have. The boys kept the place tidy, well within reasonable share-house parameters, but no actual _real cleaning_ was done at all.
But its over now, and almost clean again :-)
I do miss Adrian when he has a straight week of working nights, but it has given me time to go through a search of 149 hits and narrow it down to 19 for our naughty 2 year anniversary get away. Yes it _has_ been that long ;-0~
