I BOUGHT A NEW CAR!!!!!!!
After months (years) of bitching and moaning about my trucklette (the Xtreme), Jason and I went honest-to-goodness car shopping yesterday. I attempted to test-drive a Pruis, just to tell myself I made the good-faith effort to drive that turd-on-wheels. All sold out. Apparently, in PCola, the Prius has a 4-hour lot life

At least, I think I did; Jason's computer this morning was being all bitchy when it came to posting comments on LJ. And his spacebar sticks. The only reasons I use it are that it's faster than my laptop, and it has a 25" monitor (as compared to my laptop's 10" monitor).
Anyway, thank you! :) And as for practical, we thought about that, too; Jason has a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee that we use whenever we go grocery shopping, etc. anyway (since I refuse to drive on weekends and evenings, given that I drive 3 hours a day for work), and it's got a trailer hitch (he uses it to take the jetski around to the dock, and of course the motorcycle when necessary, and can haul anything else with it, and it's a 4wd, so it does everything practical that we need it to do). This one's for fun now, since I'm still childless and plan to remain that way for at least the next 5 to 6 years anyway; the next opportunity I'll have to own something like that is when our kids are in colllege, and I don't intend to wait that long to have fun. :) And, since it cost actually less than a few other cars I was considering (that were actually PRACTICAL), and it only increases my insurance by exactly $14.99 for the entire 6 months, I'm not too concerned with anything besides enjoying the ride and obsessively cleaning it. :-P
If you come for a visit, I'll take you for a ride... nudge, nudge!

If only it wasn't so bloody expensive to visit your area.. its all the way in south bumblefuck. :)
Oh speaking of bumblefucking... since your title has the word sex in (sex and the village...very trendy right now :P) LJ was thinking that your page has potential adult material and asked me to verify that I am over 14 before I could reply. *grin*

Whatever, it ain't changin'. :) Just confirm that you're not a minor, LOL!
BTW -- the trunk has 2 cubic feet of space when the top is down; 5 cu ft. when it's up.
We'd have to have Scott drawn and quartered and take him in several trips if we want to put him in the trunk. Instead, I'll just take you around the neighborhood one at a time, LOL!
