"I have a big head, and little arms...."
I have a lot of stuff to write and a little time in which to do it, so I'll try to be brief:
1. It's Super Duper Tuesday! I still don't think we'll have any definitive nominees by tonight, but hey, you never know. I'm not exactly a paid Washington pundit.
1.a) I so loved the Coke commercial with James Carville and Bill Frist -- rollin' on their Segways, Carville's bald head being kissed by the mascot; the head-tilt in the Smithsonian.... LOVE IT!
1.a)i. I also loved the Bridgestone commercial with all the animals screaming (esp. the grasshopper!), and of course the Will Farrell commercial that ends with him saying, "Bud Light: SUCK ONE." I hear there was one with lizards doing the Thriller dance, but I didn't get to see it. :( I missed about half of them because I was cleaning out my closet and getting my stuff ready for Monday morning (I'm not a huge football fan, and even the commercials couldn't keep me in fronf of that TV for so long.)
2. It's also Mardi Gras, the American version of which was actually founded in Mobile, AL. Which means it's practically a sacred holiday here; I think we're the only people at work in our building today. The banks are closed, the insurance companies are closed, the streets are deserted, and our parking lot is practically empty; it's a wonder they haven't rolled up the interstate yet! But alas, we are still working here at my small company. Stupid company.
2.a) I wore my Mardi Gras shoes today; let's see if this pic works:
3. I was listening to FoxNews this morning on my way to work, and I forget whom, but somebody was talking about The House that Reagan Built, and as a Republican, I can say we definitely love that man, but I'm seriously surprised nobody in my party has yet suggested having him canonized. I'm sure somebody's quietly working on it, though.
4. Trying to get to a Total Body Conditioning class at the gym; will write more later!
