(no subject)
First, the cell phone that I have for work -- which cost $850, mind you -- broke, after a year almost to the day since I (they) bought it. I can't get it to stay on, and the battery won't seem to charge; it doesn't even recognize that it's plugged in, and yesterday, before it died for good, it thought it was plugged in, even when it wasn't. I don't know.
Anyway, since I was in the midst of trying to figure how to save all my contacts to my SIM card, or to my SD card, when it died, I have nobody's contact info. OK, I have some, as I'm temporarily using my old Treo 650 with the company's SIM card in it (but I'm not doing so for long; I'm not going to use my phone for the company; if something happens to it, I doubt they'd replace it, so, uh, screw that).
So, I need your contact info, please. Gotta replace what was probably lost forever.

In other news, I love how my car goes from 0 to 60 in about an hour and a half.
Finally, I'm leaving work at 3 today (allegedly), picking up my bridesmaid's dress from the tailor -- again (tried it on last night -- they took THREE INCHES in from the bust! It was never supposed to be shortened there; I'd have to starve myself for a year to fit into it now! So I brought it in this morning with practically tears in my eyes and they fixed it already, gotta get it after work today).... then going home, finishing packing, showering, and heading out on our drive north. Driving all night tonight, all day/evening tomorrow, and going straight to bed Thurs night. Running a PFT in Chicopee, Massachusetts on Friday morning at 8am; please pray for me. Ran 3mi yesterday and dry-heaved a LOT at the end. Doing it all again on Friday; yaaaay. But this time, the time counts (I only did 27:04 yesterday; I need to run under 27 to pass). And it's in front of my new Recruiter. So... I'm nervous, but pretty confident I can do it. Still... please pray for me or something, ok? Thanks. :)
That said, there won't be much internet access for me for a few days, prob not until the middle of next week. Call/text me if you need me.
Which brings me to this: I'll be in NY from Sun, the 12th through Wed the 15th. Then in Annapolis (and sometimes DC) the 15th (afternoon) until Sun, the 19th (morning). If anyone's around and would like to get together (may or may not be possible in NY; spending time with Mom and Dad packing and visiting Manhattan a few more times before they move on Wed), pls call or text me. Thanks!
Also, I'm so psyched for OPI's new Russian Collection, which launches in retail stores today. I have no life.
Stopped at the mall yesterday near work to get a battery for my watch, and the little, 70-something Lebanese man who owns the kiosk (and speaks 10 languages) recited his own poetry to me (in English)! How cute was that?!?! :)
K, I'm done. Much work to do, only 4hrs to do it in. YIKES!!!
