Left in darkened rooms encased in their own filth and wrapped in stained, coarse blankets, cockroaches for company, and the sound of their own breath fading into insignificance, these young souls lay - destined to die a slow and painful death. Their crime? being born into a female body. Cursed with ovaries and barren wombs. Their destiny from conception to death, nothing more than a waste of space....who do i speak of? Chinese baby girls left in 'death rooms' in orphanages. Just when I pause and think the world cant possibly become any more absurdly cruel and perverted, it beats me every time.
