Sorry guys

Dec 19, 2006 00:01

I know my last post was a huge downer, and with the holidays going on, you all didn't need to hear that. Sorry. A good note, I'm in a much better mood. Things are still complicated, but I'm working on it. As you all can guess, I'm not very open with people as a whole. I don't talk much about my feelings with people I know in person. So you guys, here are my sounding board, and I'll tell you guys, I feel a lot more comfortable telling you guys how I feel, because I know you won't judge me, or be at a loss for words. Simple fact, I don't need anyone to "solve" my problems, I just need people to listen to me, and give advice when advice is needed, and so far, you guys have done that. Thanks. Best Christmas present ever.

And speaking of Christmas, I'm running extremely late with the Christmas Cards. I have em, they're written, but for the International people, it may get to you folks a little later than Christmas. Hopefully by the New Year. But It'll get there.

On a good note, my coworker/friend Jennifer got married this past weekend. It was such a beautiful wedding. Although I missed half the ceremony. This is how the weekend went.

Saturday, drove down to the Hyatt in Waikiki. Jennifer wanted everyone at the hotel so she knew we'd all be on time for everything. My other coworker, Jenn, and I were there to do makeup(Jenn), and hair (me). That night, Jenn and I shared a room and lol, we went out on the balcony to smoke, and since it was a non-smoking room, Jenn closed the sliding door. Yeah, little did we know that the latch, if not pushed down and away, it latches automatically.... so as soon as she closed the door, we heard the click. I snapped my head to the left and said, "JENN~!" She had this look of "Deer caught in the headlights" on her face, said, "NO WAY!" So yes, we were stuck out on the balcony. Both cellphones in the room on the beds... Only things we had, lighters and cigarettes, and our key card. We tried to jimmy the card in the door to undo the latch. Quite difficult. That wasn't working, so we started yelling our lungs off for help. We were on the 22nd floor, so climbing was out of the question. Tried throwing something at the window above us, since their lights were on... yeah didn't work... windy and all. We seen some guys out on the balcony in the next tower, and yelled for them to call security. We weren't sure if they called so we were still trying. Jenn was working the door, while I was yelling for help. LOL! We were so into what we were doing, we didn't notice the security come into the room and unlatch the door. We were so releived. We thought we were gonna spend the night on the balcony and that Jennifer was gonna hate us for being late lol. Well I can say I had an "eventful" holiday season. LoL! Needless to say we are never going to live this one down.

The wedding was beautiful, Jennifer was beautiful, but after a long and tiring day, I came home and slept.
