Oh the pain!

This past Friday, I got all four of my wisdom teeth pulled. Yeah, not fun! LoL!

Couldn't eat or drink anything 8 hours before the surgery. It sucked. But I got through it. I got up in the morning and had to have my dad drive me, since I wasn't going to be able to drive myself back. I had them put me under instead of just numbing me. So much easier for all involved in my opinion. When the first put the mask over my nose, I didn't like the feeling it was giving me. I almost made them stop. But the doctor and the nurse kept talking to me, and telling me what was gonna happen, what they were doing, and how I was gonna feel, so I just relaxed. The last thing I remember is them either injecting me, or drawing blood. Then I was been woken up to go over to the recovery room. Then my dad was there, and they were telling him about my meds, foods, drinks that would be okay for me.

My dad is so cute. I was in the car and he went to the pharmacy to get my meds, he said, "I'll be right back okay." I dunno, I guess you had to be there. LoL! He took me home and I just about crashed on my bed. I dunno how much longer, but He woke me with a glass of water and my meds, but I had to eat something first. It was lukewarm soup. I hate soupy things. LoL! But it's all I could get down. I was at the dining table, with my head half down, trying to get the food down. LoL! I must have looked horrible. I couldn't do it anymore. It hurt to even attempt to move my mouth. I took my meds and it knocked me out even more. My dad kept on checking up on me, to make sure I was hydrated and what not. LoL!

So, I'm still on my vicodin. Makes me drowsey. And I'm still taking the antibiotics. I have another check up next week. Should go smoothly.

And since I finally took care of the wisdom teeth, I figured why not go all the way. I talked to my dentist about straightening my teeth. I was thinking braces, but he says my jaw is weird. Well not in so many words, but when he took the mold of my teeth and jaw, it looks weird. It comes narrow where most peoples come more rounded. My front teeth are crooked because it's crowded in the front. Braces would be too expensive and probably not the best for me. So I'm getting veneers. YAY! I'm finally going to have straight teeth again. I can't wait. The only thing I'm loathing, is the mold. It was horrible to have them take the molds. UGH! Bitter, thick plaster all up in my mouth. Yeah, I have a strong gag reflex. Blech! I hope I do better than I did the last time.

Okay, so that's my story for the month.
